Toyota Ghana limited has held this year’s users’ conference in Accra to interact with its customers.
The company used the annual conference, which was on theme “Best product, best service; satisfied customer”, to receive feedback from its customers as well as inform them of new products and services available.
The managing director of Toyota Ghana, Tahiko Takabayashi, in his opening remarks said the forum would enable the company to discuss the needs of customers in order for Toyota to adjust its products and services to satisfy its customers.
Eric Darko, general manager in charge of operations, noted that Toyota is growing because there has been a global increase in information transfer where Toyota users share experience with colleagues and family, adding that the company will continue to be consistent with its high product quality.
Announcing a special discount offer for sale of its cars, he encouraged Ghanaians to always buy Toyota cars from Toyota Ghana because they are the only authorized dealer in the country. “When you buy from us, you are assured of warranty as well as a product which is purposely made for the Ghanaian market that can withstand our road shocks.”
The Toyota Yaris has been reduced from US$22,900 to between US$21,800 and US$21,500 depending on credit and cash payment respectively. Also the Toyota Prado has been slashed from its original price of US$64,350 to between US$61,625 and US$59,986 under the same sales and purchase agreement as the Yaris.
The promotion also include a 30% discount on body re-spraying, body care and polishing from the month of July to September this year.
He encouraged customer to undertake regular maintenance to ensue early detection deterioration.
The customers were also taking through some routine process determining Toyota counterfeit spare parts from the original products. William Atobi however warned the customer that “It was really difficult to determine fake Toyota products from genuine ones, therefore the surest way was to buy from Toyota itself or from its authorized distributors.”
