Oracle introduces Engineered Systems

By Alex Bentil
Oracle has introduced its engineered systems in Accra. The engineered systems which are a combination of hardware and software IT products have been assembled and synchronized to work together with ease and increase an organisation’s productivity.
The US based multinational computer company’s engineered system provides corporate entities the luxury of faster implementation of IT related duties and tasks, less deployment and operational risks, great cost performance and lowest total cost output.

Oracle’s Regional Manager for West and Central Africa, Annick Sakho, explained that since Oracle’s focus is to simplify IT, the outdooring of the engineered system was a step in the right direction.

This focus she explained was due to the fact that the business environment was dynamic hence the need to develop products that suited the changing phase of the environment. “Oracle is focused on simplifying IT because the business environment is changing and companies are making efforts to bring innovation into their operation and transform their own business. To bring into the market some compact solution might also have impact in terms of cost in resources that would be used for such projects. So what Oracle is trying to implement for customers is solutions like the engineered system which seeks to simplify IT”.

“We are convinced that if the IT team has less to focus on in terms of day to day operations of maintaining complex systems, it will free them of both resources and cost to focus on different projects that are more beneficial to customers and the organisation. That would give the organisation some competitive urge and added advantage”, she stated.
She explained that though the engineered systems have been on the market for some time, the event was to outdoor to customers, the latest updates on the market. This she says would give customers the latest state of the art IT solutions for company growth.
The engineered systems are Technical Resources for Systems Admins, IT Managers and Developers made up of synchronized hardware and software products from Oracle. With its unique, integrated and synchronized features, companies are guaranteed of quality IT solutions for productivity.
The innovation gives organisations to opportunity to save cost as less number of people needed to manage and maintain the system. Customers are assured of prompt response from Oracle to their concerns, as well as regular and current updates of their systems without any risks.
The engineered system also eliminates the usual bulky and clustered environment often associated with server and data rooms of most organisations as the system comes with the entire stack of hard-wares needed to keep servers running.
