Victoria Agyemang wins ultimate IDEAL Milk@50 promo prize

 


Nestlé Ghana Limited has rewarded some loyal consumers of Ideal Milk as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of Ghana’s favorite milk.

As part of the 50th Anniversary ‘Peel, Text and Win’ promotion, over GHC 800,000 worth of prizes were put up for grabs. More than 400 consumers and food operators from across the country won GHC 500 each in weekly mini draws. Others also took home electrical appliances including fridges and televisions.

At a presentation ceremony on Friday, Madam Victoria Amoako Agyemang from the Ashanti Region, emerged the ultimate winner and was presented with the grand prize of a brand-new Nissan Kicks SUV. This coincidentally also marked her 50th birthday and she could not hide her joy.

I have been using IDEAL Milk since childhood, and I am so happy I won the car. I can’t believe it! I thank IDEAL so much,” she stated.

Category Manager for Dairy at Nestle Ghana, Omofasa Orhiunu, remarked at the event that “IDEAL Milk is Ghana’s number one milk today because of the love of our consumers. This significant milestone of 50 years could not be celebrated without recognizing those who really make IDEAL a part of their daily lives.”

About the Ideal Milk Golden Jubilee Promotion

Consumers were asked to buy an IDEAL Original Special Edition tin with the 50th-anniversary label, peel the label to reveal a code. They were then asked to text the code to a shortcode at no cost to them.

Participants who text the codes correctly to the shortcode were entered into a weekly draw.

In all there were Seven mini draws and a grand draw.

IDEAL Milk was first produced in Ghana at the Nestlé factory in Tema in 1971. Since then, generations of families have enjoyed the delicious nutrition that Ideal Milk offers. Indeed, IDEAL Milk has become a household name in Ghana.

EB-ACCION DISBURSES US$15 MILLION

Amantin & Kasei Community Bank posts impressive growth, with over GH¢1m profit

 Amantin and Kasei Community Bank, at Amantin in the Bono East Region has posted impressive growth in all the performance indicators during 2022 financial year under review. The bank recorded profit after tax of GH¢1,055,662, representing 35.66% more over the 2021 figure of GH¢778.151. This achievement stemmed out of 49.24% gross income growth from GH¢8,143,526 to GH¢12,153,537. Total deposits of the bank went up by 36.20%, changing from GH¢50,959,848 in 2021 to GH¢69,405,591 in 2022. The bank increased loans and advances by 22.15% from GH¢14,128,017 to GH¢17,257,614. Total assets showed an appreciation of 29.32%, amounting to GH¢77,918,288 as against GH¢60,250,693 in the previous year. On the other hand, the bank posted a marginal increase in short term investments portfolio from GH¢24,439,761 to GH¢26,585,698, indicating 8.78% change.
