Victoria Agyemang wins ultimate IDEAL Milk@50 promo prize

Nestlé Ghana Limited has rewarded some loyal consumers of Ideal Milk as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of Ghana’s favorite milk.

As part of the 50th Anniversary ‘Peel, Text and Win’ promotion, over GHC 800,000 worth of prizes were put up for grabs. More than 400 consumers and food operators from across the country won GHC 500 each in weekly mini draws. Others also took home electrical appliances including fridges and televisions.

At a presentation ceremony on Friday, Madam Victoria Amoako Agyemang from the Ashanti Region, emerged the ultimate winner and was presented with the grand prize of a brand-new Nissan Kicks SUV. This coincidentally also marked her 50th birthday and she could not hide her joy.

I have been using IDEAL Milk since childhood, and I am so happy I won the car. I can’t believe it! I thank IDEAL so much,” she stated.

Category Manager for Dairy at Nestle Ghana, Omofasa Orhiunu, remarked at the event that “IDEAL Milk is Ghana’s number one milk today because of the love of our consumers. This significant milestone of 50 years could not be celebrated without recognizing those who really make IDEAL a part of their daily lives.”

About the Ideal Milk Golden Jubilee Promotion

Consumers were asked to buy an IDEAL Original Special Edition tin with the 50th-anniversary label, peel the label to reveal a code. They were then asked to text the code to a shortcode at no cost to them.

Participants who text the codes correctly to the shortcode were entered into a weekly draw.

In all there were Seven mini draws and a grand draw.

IDEAL Milk was first produced in Ghana at the Nestlé factory in Tema in 1971. Since then, generations of families have enjoyed the delicious nutrition that Ideal Milk offers. Indeed, IDEAL Milk has become a household name in Ghana.
