MGA Consulting CEO Sees New Govt As New opportunity Business To Grow

 


Michael Abbiw, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MGA Consulting Ghana Limited, one of the fastest-growing indigenous management consultancy firms in the country, is optimistic that the new government will create new opportunity for businesses to grow and create jobs for the youth.

For us, we see a new government as a new opportunity because all businesses and organisations are trying to see what this new government hold for us to grow and create employment for our young people”, he said during an interview at the company’s end of year get-together party held in Accra.

Abbiw said his outfit is expecting a lot of work this year to contribute to businesses in navigating their way around this new government and also being successful. He added that they would also be looking at re-strategising and finding new solutions to support their existing and new clients.

2025 is going to be better

 Innosol Innovative Solutions subsidiary of MGA Consulting, is hoping to launch its first product, therefore it is going to be big and better, according to the CEO. He was quick to explain that Innosol is working around the clock to develop homegrown software and applications to solve ICT challenges in Ghana and across West Africa.

The vision is that we want to build an indigenous organisation operating with an international professional attitude here in Ghana. We will support and provide new innovative ideas to help businesses”.

Performance

While many businesses complained that 2024 was a very difficult year, Abbiw, who is also the lead consultant of the company, said MGA Consulting had a very good year. In his own words: “We've run various programmes, and successfully worked with various organisations”

MGA Consulting ended 2024 as the Overall Best Business Promotion & Consultancy Sector Award, which was given by the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI). Also, the company, during the year under review, successfully organised National Sales Leaders Conference (NSLC), the first ever in the country, attracting over 3,000 participants across various sectors across the countries.

We also were able to organise the fourth edition of the Ghana Digital Innovation & Week (GDIW 2024), which also brought together over 6,000 participants across the world to celebrate the accomplishment of Ghana’s digital ecosystem”, Abbiw further stated.

Under the two years Ghana Jobs and Skills Project, we were able to, build the capacity of over 13,000 young entrepreneurs in the country”. All of these things were very successful, he stated.

Solidarity messages

Sharing his solidarity message with the management and staff of the company, the Executive Director of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG), Kwabena Agyekum, lauded MGA Consulting for providing excellent management consultancy services to businesses, organisations, and development partner agencies.

He added that MGA Consulting’s services have been good because it is a marketing-oriented company that takes customer orientation seriously.

They look at the competition and evolve. Aside that, all the team players look at the single most important factor in business being, the customer. Also, they take planning strategically in terms of marketing very seriously”. He commended MGA Consulting. These he said are the unique selling points that make them distinct, to do what is right and be ahead of the pack, Agyekum explained.

Madam Jacqueline Commodore, Member Relations Manager at the Ghana Association of Microfinance Companies, commended MGA Consulting’s team for their dedication and professionalism. “They are time-conscious, diligent, and honest in their dealings. Their work ethic is impressive. They put in a lot of time and effort into the research that they do”, she noted.

At the night, the staff of MGA Consulting, who excelled during the year, were awarded prizes, including all-expense paid trips to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to cool-off.
