Zenith Bank has added three new products to its array of products and services it offers Ghanaians.
These are the Zenith Children’s Plus, Zenith Church Premium Account and Society Account (Z-Society). The Zenith Children’s Plus Account is an attractive upgrade of its children account, ZECA, for children below 12 years. The account helps parents to build their child’s finances from an early age.
The Church Premium Account is a repackaged funds management and credit facility service for Christian religious bodies for assets purchases and construction.
While the Z-Society is an investment account designed for clubs, societies, associations and social organizations to offer funds management services at very attractive interest rates.
Launching the three products the Managing Director of the bank, Daniel Aseidu, said the necessary research have been conducted and assured that the benefits, efficiency and relevance of the products are unrivalled in the Ghanaian banking industry.
Zenith Bank used the occasion to reward its loyal customers who participated in the ‘Aseda’ promotion.
Samuel Nunoo won the grand prize of GHc25,000 while Fred Tetteh and Mary Yaovi won GHc15,000 and GHc5,000 for the second and third prize respectively. Other prizes include two KLM air ticket to any destination of choice, two visa cards worth GHc500, 10 LCD TVs, I-pods and other consolation prizes.
The promotion was instituted in March this year to reward customers for their loyalty for the past five years. There have been three draws since the inception of the promotion.
To qualify for the promotion, existing customers had to deposit GHc200 or multiples of it in their account while new customers had to open an account with the same amount and subsequently deposit multiples of GHc200. The customers must leave these monies untouched during the period of the promotion hence face disqualification.
Earlier, staff of the bank and their families embarked on a health walk through some of the principal street of Accra to mark the fifth anniversary of the bank.
The bank which started operation in 2005 now has 21 branches across the country. It was adjudged the best bank in 2008. The MD attributed the achievements to “hard work, our esteemed customers, commitment of our wonderful staff and of course innovation of our products,” he stated.
