Who fed us from their gentle breast?
And hushed us in their arms to rest,
And on our cheeks sweet kisses prest?
Our Mothers
Who ran to help us when we fell,
And would tell some pretty story,
Or kiss the place to make it well?
Our mothers
Thank you Mothers for being you…
The love mothers have deep in their heart,
always gives us a good jump start,
she is the one whose love is true.
When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child. Through the love of our mothers, the Jews in appreciating their mothers have a proverb which says “God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers”.
Mother's Day was first officially recognized in the United States in 1914 when the late U.S. President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed the second Sunday of May as the official date on which American families and children should recognize mothers, which came about as the results of the commendable efforts of American civic leader Anna Jarvis of Grafton, USA. Since then, Mother's Day became a vital family celebration in the United States and other European countries.
Mother’s Day, a day which is dedicated for the happiness and pleasure of our mothers. At Mother’s Day, we certainly leave all our tasks, we spend the whole day with our mothers. Though it is not enough in any aspect to spend just a single day with our mother but we can say it a nice initiative.
Robert Brault, a writer, once said if you have a mom, there is nowhere you are likely to go where a prayer has not already been.
A man loves his sweetheart the most, his wife the best, but his mother the longest.
A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still she will cling to us, and endeavor by her kind teachings and counsels to drive away the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.
If I had a single flower for every time I think about you, I could walk forever in my garden.
Happy Mother’s Day
God bless all mothers.
And hushed us in their arms to rest,
And on our cheeks sweet kisses prest?
