Traveling to a different country and having to adjust to a new way of life and culture can be a very fascinating experience.
The downside of this for most people is having to leave just when they are just beginning to get used to their new way of life.
For German trainer, Otto Pfister, saying goodbye to his favorite Ghanaian dish fufu in 1993 is something he still hasn’t gotten to terms with till this day.
“I miss fufu, I like it too much,” Pfister said in a interview with Citi Sports.
Otto Pfister led Ghana’s Black Starlets to victory in the 1991 FIFA U-17 World Championship, and was in charge of the Black Stars at the 1992 AFCON, where Ghana lost on penalties to Ivory Coast in the final.
