The 1975-year group of the Christian Methodist Old Students Association (CHRIMOSA), as part of their 50th anniversary of completing secondary school, has provided internet services to Christian Methodist Senior High School in a bid to enhance the school's educational development. The initiative was unveiled at a brief ceremony held at the school premises on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
The project aims to bridge the gap in access to information and provide students with opportunities for online learning, research, and global connectivity.
According to Catherine Engmann, Vice President of the 1975-year group of CHRIMOSA, "The world has shrunk, and the power of information and communication lies at the fingertips of those who are connected. By installing Internet connectivity here today, we are not only empowering the students with access to a world of knowledge but also ensuring that Christian Methodist Secondary School remains at the forefront of educational development."

The internet connectivity project is part of the year group's efforts to give back to the school that shaped them into who they are today. The initiative will enable students to access a wealth of information, facilitating their learning and research. The project also underscores the importance of community and the role of alumni in supporting their alma mater.
Fred Tetteh, Coordinator of the 50th Anniversary Planning Committee of the 1975-year group, highlighted the group's recent contributions to the school, including the provision of a ultra-modern notice board in 2020. Providing information on the 50th anniversary celebrations, he noted he invited all old students to part of the homecoming and thanksgiving service scheduled for October this year.

Dr. Winston Andah and Major (Rtd) Regina Akai Nettey of the 1971 year group commended the 1975 year group for providing internet services to the school. They urged the school authorities and the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) to maintain and sustain the internet services, suggesting that the PTA could consider sustaining the data subscription to ensure the initiative's long-term benefits.
The Assistant Headmaster, Raymond Sedzro, expressed gratitude to the old students for providing internet connectivity to the school. He noted that the provision of internet services will ease some of the administrative duties and enhance the school's operations.

Sedzro also informed the old students about the revival of the Parent and Teacher Association (PTA) and paid tribute to the passing of one of their colleagues, Kofi Yeko, whose funeral is scheduled for August 9, 2025.

The Assistant Headmaster observed that there is a disconnect between old and new students and emphasized the need for unity among the old students. He reiterated the crucial role old students play in the school's development and appreciated their contributions.
Sedzro noted that the school is working hard to regain its past glory and highlighted that the school will celebrate its 75th anniversary in five years. He urged the old students to support the planning process and contribute to the school's growth.
The ceremony was attended by the school's administration, teachers, and students, who expressed gratitude to the 1975 year group of CHRIMOSA for their generosity and commitment to the school's development. The initiative is a testament to the enduring strength of the Christian Methodist Secondary School community and a reminder that the Class of 1975 will always stand with the school, not just in spirit, but in action.
