Best Essays in "Investment in People" Track Identified at NC "Russia" as Part of Open Dialogue "Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth"

THE international Open Dialogue "Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" will occur at the National Centre "Russia" on April 28.

Experts worldwide will participate in the event, including experts from leading analytical centres, development institutes, higher education, government institutions, business associations, youth organisations, science, and journalism.
One of the Open Dialogue tracks is "Investment in People."

The pitch session on this topic brought together more than 30 speakers.

"The Open Dialogue is an essential platform for bringing people together, and I came here specifically to explore opportunities for implementing joint projects. We assign the main role to the younger generation. Russia and Zambia invest in the education of young people; our country finances the education of almost 150 people studying in Russia. We are doing everything to foster cooperation between Russian and African youth. I believe investing in developing the nation's future is important, which today's event promotes," noted Nalishebo Nyambe, head of the World Youth and Leadership Foundation from Zambia.

Following the "Investment in People" pitch session, essayists whose ideas received the highest expert evaluation were identified. They have been invited to participate in the panel pitching on April 29.

The best essayists from the pitch session include: Ismail Suliman Quraisha (South Africa), journalist at the Institute for Corporate Citizenship of the University of South Africa; Maxim Luppov (Russia), postgraduate student in "Sociology of Culture" at the National Research Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod; Jessica Martinez Cruz (Mexico), lecturer at the Autonomous University of Puebla; Ilmira Shikula (Russia), Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of Comprehensive Organizational Security at the Faculty of Comprehensive Security and Fundamentals of Military Training at the Russian State Social University; Elizaveta Romanova (Russia), student at the Russian State Social University; and Jacob Pinneker (Germany), head of the "Oka" Recruitment Agency.

"In my essay, I proposed rethinking the role of AI to expand its potential uses. My solution is to make artificial intelligence not just a 'problem solver' but a strategic partner by redesigning the basic design of the curriculum. I am confident that we can move away from information overload," explained Maxim Luppov, third-year "Sociology of Culture" postgraduate student at the National Research Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod.

Ilmira Shikula, Doctor of Law and Professor of the Department of Comprehensive Organisational Security at the Faculty of Comprehensive Security and Fundamentals of Military Training at the Russian State Social University, addressed the topic of children's cybersecurity.

The effectiveness of protecting children from information threats is an indicator of the level of development of society and the state as a whole. Protection of children in the Internet space should now become one of the priorities of national security. It is necessary to introduce criminal liability for cyberbullying and trolling," proposed Ilmira Shikula.

The expert believes that introducing these changes will improve the legal system's ability to ensure the safety of minors and prevent offences.

The Open Dialogue gathered 696 works from 102 countries, written in 18 languages, including Pashto, Malagasy, Serbian, and Greek. Following more than 200 online interviews, 101 authors and 24 world-class experts were selected for in-person participation in Moscow. Together, they represent 48 countries from all continents.

The transaction, registered with the Registrar of Companies and approved by the Minerals Commission, ends nearly two decades of under-investment, legal disputes, and capital shortfalls that kept the concessions dormant. With global gold prices trading above $3,000 per ounce, the move comes at a time when Ghana is seeking fresh mining revenue to support its IMF-backed fiscal consolidation programme.
