Her project, the Challenged Children Foundation, provides comprehensive care, safe shelter, food, clothing, and support to children with disabilities. Adom's husband and a team of volunteers assist her in caring for the children. The foundation relies on Adom's salary and occasional support from family and friends to fund its activities.

According to Reverend Noah Yaw Adunkwaa, a community leader, "Richeal was sent by God to help these children. She compassionately cares for the physically challenged and vulnerable, treating them with kindness and respect."

One beneficiary, Grace Adobea, shares her heartfelt gratitude: "Auntie Richeal and her family have accepted me and my daughter as one of their own, providing us with the care and support we need to thrive." Grace's daughter, Blessing, was born without legs, and Adom took them in, providing medical care, food, and shelter.

Abraham Obeng, the nominator, praises Adom's dedication: "What she and her husband are accomplishing, with support from virtually no one else, is truly remarkable and nothing short of extraordinary."
