As part of measures to ensure the safety of students and teachers on June 29 school reopening for all JHS final year students, basic schools within the Asokwa Municipality in Kumasi- Ashanti Region have benefited from the nationwide disinfection exercise being undertaken by Zoomlion Ghana Limited. About 48 schools including Our Lady of Apostles School, St Cyprian’s Anglican school, Atonso Presby Bethel Experimental School among others benefited from the two day disinfection exercise. The others are Farsonh International JHS, Glorious Nyame Bekyere, Golden Rule JHS, Havard Royal International JHS, Jesus Only International JHS, Joy Standard JHS, Larbec International Academy, Malincol Educational Centre, Praise Baptist JHS, and Unique Standard School etc. However, Zoomlion is expected to disinfect about 2000 private schools in Greater Kumasi metropolitan area.
