Yapra Rural Bank PLC at Prang in the Bono East Region has constructed and handed over a three-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities to the Prang D/A No. 1 Primary School, offering long-awaited relief to pupils who for years studied in a deteriorating structure. The GH¢390,000 project replaces a dilapidated block that previously housed lower primary classes and had long been deemed unsafe. The school, established in 1947 and currently enrolling 273 pupils, is expected to see significant improvements in safety and teaching conditions following the upgrade. The commissioning of the new facility coincided with the 40th anniversary celebration of Yapra Rural Bank.
