Ultra Centre for Licensing and Vehicle Registration now offers a premium experience to Accra residents

Since July 2024, Citizens and residents of Accra are able to apply for their Vehicle and Driver License applications at the Ultra Centre for Licensing and Vehicle Registration operated by Bridge Direct in collaboration with VFS Global.

The Centre offers applicants a convenient and comfortable environment for submitting their Vehicle and License applications. A dedicated contact centre (0302 918007) and email support (info@dvla.gov.gh) service is also available for customers to answer queries and track the application status.

The Authority recognizes the need to decentralize its services to the people with the view to certify every driver who sits behind the steering wheel after ensuring that they meet all requirements for certification and issuance of a driver’s licence. In view of this, I want to urge the general public to approach any of our offices including the Ultra Centres for driver licence acquisition with ease.”

Visit http://www.dvla.gov.gh/ and select 'Individual' or 'Business' (for corporates).
Fill in the required fields to create an online service account with DVLA.
Log into your DVLA account and select any of the services listed.
Receive an online invoice for the chosen service and proceed to the service centre.

Fitch Solutions retains 2025 growth rate projection at 4.2%

Fitch Solutions has reaffirmed its projection that Ghana’s economy will expand by 4.2% in 2025. BoG injects $20m into FX market to support 11 BDCs

The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has injected $20 million into the foreign exchange market in the latest round of its forward FX auction targeted at Bulk Oil Distribution Companies (BDCs). The intervention, which benefited eleven BDCs, is part of the central bank’s broader strategy to stabilise the cedi and ensure price stability in the petroleum downstream sector. Held on Tuesday, April 29, the auction was priced at a locked exchange rate of GHS 14.28 to the US dollar, with bid offers ranging from GHS 13.85 to GHS 15.55.
