MTN Ghana Supports 88th Ada Asafotufiami Festival

 


MTN Ghana has once again demonstrated its dedication to preserving Ghana's rich cultural heritage by donating GH¢32,000 to support the 88th Ada Asafotufiami Festival. The donation, comprising a cheque of GH¢30,000 and MTN airtime worth GH¢2,000, is a testament to the company's ongoing commitment to the Ada Traditional Council and the entire Ada community.

Francis Gyan, Regional Sales Manager, emphasized the significance of traditional festivals like Asafotufiami in promoting unity, showcasing community uniqueness, and attracting visitors and investment opportunities. This marks the 18th consecutive year MTN Ghana has supported the festival, highlighting its commitment to delighting customers and contributing to local tourism and economic development.

MTN Ghana continues to support the celebration of traditional festivals like Asafotufiami because we believe they play a vital role in preserving Ghana’s cultural identity while contributing significantly to local tourism and economic development," Gyan noted.

The company also set up experience centers which provided personalized support and services to customers, while engaging the community in conversations around MoMo fraud awareness and digital tools like MyMTNApp.
