Speaking at the school's 5th graduation and prize-giving ceremony, Mends stressed that parental support is essential for academic success.

The "Bookworm" competition is an educational program focused on promoting reading among Ghanaian childrenIt involves various categories like lower primary, upper primary, and JHS, and includes rounds of reading, dictation, and vocabulary tests. Students from Mends Academy were adjudged winner, first runner up, and second runner up in both the upper primary and JHS category.

The schools' girls' prefect, Serttina Ahene, urged parents to take a keen interest in their wards' academic journey, adding that parents should be "silent builders behind the scene," supporting their children's educational endeavors.

BoG injects $20m into FX market to support 11 BDCs

  The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has injected $20 million into the foreign exchange market in the latest round of its forward FX auction targeted at Bulk Oil Distribution Companies (BDCs).
