Ghanaian MTN office worker who travelled to UK now works as a cleaner for survival

Efya Boateng, a woman from Ghana, took to the internet to talk about how she left the comforts of her home in Ghana for the greater possibilities in the United Kingdom.

She claimed in a brief video posted on TikTok that she worked as a customer care representative for MTN back when she was living in her home country. In the UK, she worked in the cleaning industry.

Many of the individuals who responded to her tale offered their own stories about events that were similar to hers as they discussed what they were doing in the nations where they came from.

As of the time that this post is being written, the video has received over 1,700 comments and more than 9,000 likes.
