The Vice President of Ghana, Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has extended best wishes to thousands of students sitting for the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), encouraging them to approach the exams with confidence and honesty.
In a statement issued by the Office of the Vice President on Monday, May 4, the Vice President expressed confidence in the preparedness of candidates, noting that their years of effort, discipline, and study would reflect in their performance.
She urged candidates to remain focused and uphold integrity throughout the examination period, stressing the importance of determination and self-belief.
The Vice President also commended the Ghana Education Service, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders for their role in preparing students for the exams.
At the same time, she reminded supervisors, invigilators, and school authorities to maintain the highest standards of fairness and transparency to ensure a credible examination process.
